Multitasking is the Culture Today and Smartsourcing Global Makes it Fun

According to Webster.com, the first known use of the word ‘multitasking’ was back in the 1960s when computers were able to perform more than one task at a time.

Today, the term is commonly used as a skill set to imply a person’s ability to do multiple projects at a given time, a goal many of us can achieve using today’s amazing hand-held electronic devices.

Let’s face it, we are people on the move. We want to go on vacation, bury our toes in the sand, yet still stay connected to our working world, upload pictures, share thoughts, ideas and events from almost anywhere.

We like to mix work with play – sitting at an internet café, sipping iced tea, while downloading a file for a detailed business proposal – that’s a three-in-one! No matter where we are, we want to be able to consult with clients, build networks, and meet goals outside of the boundaries of a cubicle.

For some of us, our work and home life is also balanced perfectly in the palm of our hands thanks to modern technology.

At Smartsourcing Global, we recognize that life does not sit still for most people. We can build applications that help improve the quality of your business, inspire productivity in employees and keep you connected.

Whether you’re a small business looking to network and increase visibility, or an established firm seeking to take on bigger projects, we can provide the software technology to help you achieve your goals.

So the next time your toes are in the sand and you have an epiphany about a marketing campaign for your new client, don’t put a message in a bottle and wait a year for a response – send out an email from your hotel room to your corporate team. That way the wheels are set in motion before you even return with an enviable tan!
