The PeopleStories was developed by The Young People’s Project (YPP) with support from the Nathan Cummings and Ford Foundation.

The PeopleStories is a dynamic media and social networking platform that utilizes the power of stories to inspire on and offline story gathering and sharing, community building and collective action. This site creates opportunities for individuals, organizations, coalitions and campaigns to organically and intentionally share, experience and connect media to place, areas of interest and action.The audience this project seeks to attract are:

• People most impacted by society’s failures,
• Organizations, Institutions, Networks, Campaigns and Coalitions working on social issues,
• Artists and media creators

YPP needed a product development team to make their vision a reality. BuzzWorthy Media and Smartsourcing Global together worked on this project. SSG was responsible for all software development, ensuring scalability, API development, testing, and infrastructure needs; SSG was recognized for delivering within budget, and for adding value along each step in the process.
